What is zagoat?
zagoat is an interview practice platform for software engineers and AI engineers. Instead of algorithm puzzles, you practice the kind of work these interviews actually test, in real code: tracking down bugs, building features, and AI work like fixing a RAG pipeline or writing evals.
Who is zagoat for?
Mid-level and senior engineers preparing for software engineer, AI engineer or ML engineer interviews, including software engineers moving into AI work.
What you practice
- Software engineering: finding and fixing bugs, building features and working in realistic codebases;
- AI engineering: RAG pipelines, model training and fine-tuning code, and evals that show whether an LLM feature actually works.
You open a task, write code in the browser, run the tests and submit, the way a take-home or live coding round works.
How is zagoat different from LeetCode?
LeetCode trains algorithm puzzles. More and more interviews, for software and AI roles alike, ask you to work on realistic code: find a bug, add a feature to an existing codebase, or fix why retrieval returns the wrong chunks. zagoat practices exactly that.
When does zagoat launch?
