This page explains what the zagoat waitlist collects and what we do with it. "We" means the zagoat team. Questions go to hello@zagoat.io.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store:
- your email address, and your name if you give it;
- when you signed up;
- how you found us: a tag in the link you followed, or the name of the site that sent you (never the full address of the page);
- the discount code we create for you.
We don't record your location. Each entry has room for your country, but our current host doesn't provide it, so it stays empty.
To stop abuse, our server counts sign-up attempts per IP address for one minute. These counts are kept only in memory and never saved with your entry.
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
Why
Only to email you when zagoat launches and to honor your 50% discount. We don't send newsletters, we don't sell or share your details, and we don't use them for advertising or to train AI models. We use your details because you asked to join the waitlist; you can withdraw at any time (see below).
How long we keep it
We keep your entry until the launch discount can no longer be used, and never longer than 12 months after launch. If zagoat doesn't launch, we delete the whole waitlist.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your entry at any time. Email hello@zagoat.io from the address you signed up with, and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK and aren't happy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The waitlist is for people aged 16 or over.
Changes
If we change this page, we'll update the date at the top.
